I've got a PH-3 that won't power up, no LED. Tried both fresh 9Vs and my VS 1SPOT w/ no luck. Pulled off the back and the pedal looks quite clean inside, but when I feel the board, the big square IC on the bottom half of the board is getting hot - any guesses? W/ all these little surface mount components, and ICs I'm not feeling real hopeful for this one's survival. :(
As always, I'm happy to post pix., probe for stuff or run my audio probe around if anyone wants to suggest any specific troubleshooting. |
