Well, after substantial fooling around, I decided to go ahead and use my new DC-2 on my pedalboard. You only live once, right?
That leaves me with the CC-300 that I bought as an experiment sitting unused. The short version is, it will give a DC-2 a run for it's money sound-wise, if you can live with or work around it's durability issues.

They're going for $30 plus shipping on FleaBay, and mine has just a few hours of use on it, no gigging, and no digging around inside with a soldering iron or other sharp object. Consider it pre-tested.
