My new TR-2

It worth noticing that TR2 comes now with a trim potentiometer to adjust the output volume. So by default there is no volume drop.

The serial number is KX55304 (October 2008).

Where's the trim pot? Interesting that some of the caps are missing.

Works great for about 5 minutes, then garbles up like a liquid distortion and goes quieter and ... rather unpleasant sounding; regardless of using the correct ACA adapter, or through a PSM-5, or a 9V battery, or a 9V "battery elliminator" connected to the battery snap.

So bring it around and I'll have a look at it...

The trim pot is near R50 and it is fixed with glue. It seems to have replaced R9.

Ah, it's protective foil, it does look a bit weird because of the flashlight.

Excelsior LS-1 Leslie Speaker emulator (pics from ebay listing)

Look at the standoffs on those pots!

Look at that thing - it's HUGE! Or, as the seller said, "made for big foot to stomp on!"

ARTcessories A/B-Y switch
Made by Applied Research & Technology.
No serial number found on unit.

Except for a 9V battey that powers two LED's & the current limiting resistors, the unit is "Totally Passive".
