does anyone know where to get replacament cables for the bcb-6? I could get the 1\4" straight male couplers but was hoping for more flexability with longer cables for looping with a ns-2 or a ls-2.
Solder them by yourself, then you vcan get exactly the lenght you want. And probably better quality than buying, if youre a good solderer... Much cheaper doing it by yourself anyway.
planet waves make a kit with 10 right angle jacks with a metre or so of cable for pedalboards,no soldering required just cut the cable to the desired length with the mini cutter provided in the kit, push on the jackplug and tighten the small screw on the jack and your ready to go...i got one for my pedalboard a while ago and i've gigged it now at least 15 times and all is good so far..... and i use a ls 2 on my 'board....the top row of pedals is looped in and out as i need them and i found this kit the best for making up the cables for the loop..i'll try to post a pic in the compact pedal section on the pedalboard pics thread if you want to have a look......
I bought 2 20 foot straight jack guitar cords on sale 2 for 20$, I bought 2 10packs of 90degree jacks from this electronics shop http://www.rpelectronics.com/ there is probably an electronics store local to you. I cut the length of the return jumper from the middle of one 20 footer I cut the length of the short jumpers out of the middle of the other 20 footer I then used the four remaining lengths for my wah and volume pedal this length allows you to move the rocker pedals to where they are comfortable instead of being attached to the whole board. I lash the cords with velcro cable ties, I also lash my guitar lead to the handle part of the box, you can feel the weight of the whole box if you run to the end of your leash, but you can't really feel the weight of one pedal and I dare say that's why most psm-5s are all beat up. Good wire strippers and good soldering tools and skills are essential to the success of soldering the 90s to the cables but its really quite easy.
