Does anyone know if Jimmy Page used a Flanger or Phaser on the intro to "Achilles Last Stand" on the Presence CD.

I seem to remember talk of page using a maestro phaser...but i'm not a 100% on this.......

According to http://www.zeppinhood.net/lzequip/index.htm he used a Mxr Phase 90.

bossarea, thanks for the link and the info. Do you know if the new Boss PH-3, or any of the other Boss Phasers can get the MXR Phase sound? I have a Boss BCB 60 pedalboard with all Boss pedals, and would prefer to use a Boss Phaser that runs with the PSA adaptor.

i think you'd have a hard time recreating the MXR with the PH-3. i'm a massive fan of phasers and it was my first phaser but it just didn't cut it.

now the PH-1r is def more where it's at!

Will the PH1-R work with the PSA adaptor? It says on the pedal info guide that it uses the ACA adaptor.

The PH-1R will work with a PSA adaptor as long as it's in a daisy chain with other pedals.
