I just ordered this high-resolution recorder from Korg: http://www.korg.com/gear/info.asp?a_prod_no=MR1000&category_id=3 I've tried a couple other recorders like the Fostex but they all give you V-tracks, effects, etc. I all really want is simple, high quality recording.

Hi DeFrag I will be very interested to know your opinions, about the MR-1000. I just read all the Tech stuff over at their site, & it looks like an interesting piece of gear.
Unfortunately, a 1/4 paycheck. Roland offers a 4-track for about the same price but again, its feature-laden & GAS just isn't GAS unless my kids are starving! hehe
