I opened up my DM-2 to date it, then when I put it back together it didnt have any echos.

It just lights up, signal passes but no delay what so ever?

What happened?

Can anyone help

Hi Naterel and welcome!

This shouldn't be a hard fix... I need to ask a couple of dumb questions:
- did you put the plastic insulator back between the board and the pedal base?
- is it possible a wire broke off when you had it open? Can you take another peek to see if there are any wires that are not connected to anything?

Can you take some pics of the pedal when it is open?

I think I may have to dismantle it to check all connections.

Check the wires going ot the middle pot. They look Ok in the pics, but if the wire going to terminal #6 on the board is broken, the echos are gone.

Well the pedal ran power

but the Volume, Intensity, and Echo didnt work.

I doubt I fried it, I mean it still powers up.

Checked the wire to terminal 6, looks fine

But it was all really stiff in there the first time I opened it up.

Have you messed with Trim pots inside the Pedal? If so you are going to have get them set back factory specs.

Ok, I dismantled it and sprayed contact cleaner on the pots. Right now its gutted and I hooked it up.

IT WORKS!

BUT BUT, I dont know if it'll be good when I put it all back together, something must of been making contact with something else.

I just hope it doesnt give me problems in the future.

Hi! Welcome to the forum!

Can you post some pics of your painted BOSS pedals? Did you use a different treadle for your painted DM-2??
