Could any one tell me what type and value(?) the group of four diodes near the offboard wiring are on a a OD-1? The far left one was removed by a over zealous video engineer when he "fixed" it for me.

Standard SS diodes - 1N4148 or similar - will work just fine there.

Are you the same stinkfoot with the wah mods page? Very helpful and informative site. I'm doing these mods to mine and a coworkers wah today.
Lastly, black stripe towards wires or north towards chip?

Yup, that's me.

There should be a marking on the pcb, with a triangle representing the body of the diode and a line across to show which way the black stripe goes. I believe all three should be pointing in the same direction (with the black stripe facing north, away from the wires), but doublecheck the pcb marking. I have been wrong before...
