the second one is MIJ but the serial number is still a sticker on the backplate. dont see many like that. |

Its auctions like this that make me think that the whole MIJ thing can get way out of hand at times. I think Boss should move the company again so MIJs will cost 3 times as much and MITs will cost 2 times as much.... |

Probably when production was shifted to Taiwan and they were burning through the Japanese backplate stickers. Those little silver stickers are what they still use today. |

The second unit lacks the manual. Also, I think the high shipping rate, $15.00, turned bidders off. I was surprised that no one outbid me on the pedal and box. I was holding off on this one, as they are still in production and used ones are plentiful, aside from the ones which are MIJ. Ebay takes a lot of patience in terms of getting good deals. I have not received it yet, so do not want to jinx the situation, but all of my pedals and the BCB-6 totaled less than $400.00.
