True story.
An MT-2 popped up on the local kijiji a couple of days ago for $30. "good condition, just want to get rid of it". OK, so it's only an MT-2 but for $30 it's a good modding platform (CAN$30 = US$25).
I knew I was quick - it had only been listed for about 10 minutes. Called the guy and got "sorry I just delivered it". Fishy, but OK. Ad went down a few minutes later.
Later that day, new ad, same phone number "MT-2 with some minor nicks". $50. OK... so he realised it was too cheap and took it down - bit of bulldust to me about delivering it to get rid of me. Didn't bother calling at that price. THis ad went down about 2 hours later. OK, probably sold.
Next day, new ad, same phone number "good condition, just want to get rid of it, $40" (same as the first ad but higher price). Went down about 2 hours later...
I'm waiting for it to come back again for $45, then again for $35 
Haven't bothered calling again - obviously something completely strange going on.

I think he sold it to himself the first time for $30, then tried to make a profit out of it selling it for $50 
It explains the quick delivery.

Looks like someone did really well...
There was no picture in the ad, and they seller said it was first issue in Good Condition - so while we don't know what it really was, an OD 1 at that price is taker, regardless of the year it was made! |
