Pretty good couple of weeks for The_Doc....
This for being the lucky winner of the 'Adventures with your Boss' compo for Dec 08:

For those who might be interested, this is what won it - just a spur of the moment idea.....
Btw - the horse belongs to one of the 'little' The_Doc juniors:

Roland UK were fantastic - their rep was really friendly and, I think, genuinely pleased for me. I've heard of delays in getting the prizes to winners in the past but none of that here - the new pedal arrived within days. Top result.
And, a couple of days ago, a PS-3 from ebay to complete my pitch-shifting team

Need to find time get the best out of them now. |

I was over a mutual friend's house who happened to have a pretty nice DD-5 laying around, hadn't played it in years. He was going to sell it to me for $50 until he checked eBay and saw them going for over double. I wasn't surprised when he decided to eBay it instead, but he didn't even offer me a chance to pay more :| |

He does fairly well for himself, so it was a bit odd that he was so greedy about the money. I wanted to take it and put in onto my board and play with it as opposed to letting it sit for years. Oh well. |

Hi nion
Don't feel too bad about loosing out on the DD-5. They are still quite common on evilbay & local classifieds.
As for your friend? I guess that's one less person, that you'll have to send a Christmas Card to..
Regards Dr. Bob |

A little cheaper than the ones I've watched sell on the 'bay the last four years since I decided I wanted one. It was worth it

mmm.. Vibey.
Great score on the CE-2 Laurie!
I just got a DEAD MINT XT-2 - no box/manual, but.. what a pristine pedal. $25! Craigslist rules - the lady said she got dozens of emails after mine! |

I am jealous. I've been dying for a chorus ever since my CE-20 bit the dust. |
