I think this is a great pedal. Very rich and luch chorus sounds. Not sure how good the CE-1 setting is as I've never heard a real CE-1 to tell you. The only thing I don't like is its size. Not easy to fit onto a pedal board. That's why I use my CE-2 more than my CE-20.
