DD-6...WTF mode

During my morning jam my dd6 went crazy. Useing the loop mode one it and jamming over a track is switched to reverse mode while the knob is on hold(loop). Now the reverse mode is a very short/reverb sound.

What is goin on?

Were you using batteries or a power supply?

"Crazy mode" happens with a lot of digital pedals when the battery gets to around 7V-8V.

The MZ-2 "Battery Eater Pedal" (Digital Metalizer) does this crazy robot on speed mode, when the battery gets below 8V

If you were using a power supply, check it with a meter to see it's up to spec.

Other than that, you might have to wait & see if the other guys pitch in with some ideas.
Or maybe it went faulty?

Iv always used a power supply.

I have a meter but I am a complete noob when it sones to electronics so I wouldent even know what I'm doing.

I completely dissconnected the pedal and it still did the same thing. Messing with the tap function it went back to hold mode, but only for a sec and then went right back to a WTF!!!! Moment.
