Most of our pedals are designed for righthanded people. Does this matter? Of course not!! I do not use a pedalboard, mainly because I tend to use a lot of pedals at once, for all kinds of things [drummachine, bass, guitar] and I double up on a lot of roles.
I tend to put my pedals across the floor, recently I started the chain from the other end, and it just struck me that they are really designed to be put in the right-hand order, not the other way around.

ARe there any lefthanded players [I am not!!] who have ever run into some arguements with this?
Okay it is just a small thing, but just another one to observe that righthand really rules on this planet.
Cheers,

I'm left handed and left footed but i play the guitar right handed(about the only thing i do right handed)my pedalboard starts right to left like most other players... strange but true....other famous players i know of who play right handed but are left handed in other things are Gary Moore and Mark Knopfler so i'm in good company.... i know the reason i play right handed is because my early guitar teachers couldn't be bothered to change the string around for me............

Some people also play their wah with their leftfoot while they are righthanded, like Jason Newsted for instance.

While not adding to the good company (more like crashing the party), I'm a lefty who plays righty.

Total statistical oddity, in one version of my current band, 4 of 5 of us were lefties. Now it's 3 of 4, still bucking the trend tho...

C'mon in.....all southpaws welcome...... thats amazing so many in one band are lefties... how come you ended up playing right handed..? i don't know what it was like in the states but growing up here in Dublin in the mid 70's i got a bit of a hard time from teachers especially teachers from the countryside..i had one teacher who was from the arse end of kerry who used to whack me across the knuckles with a steel ruler, she told me using my left hand was the "mark of the devil" for using my left hand to write with..i can still sign my name with my right...can you believe that s**t............
