Another cool thing is to use a CE-3 and go with only the effected signal to one amp, the uneffected output thru the rest of your chain. This will give you one amp with only chorus (depending on what you put in front of the CE-3) and one amp that works as always. This can give you a really fat sound from only one guitar and without thinking of "stereo" effect and all that.

I also run a bit of chorus most of the time but the CE-2 I use is mono only
