Just like the TR-2 its older and now obsolete brother PN-2 suffers from a slight loss of volume when turned on. It seems the TR-2 can be modded to correct this problem. Is there a similar mod for the PN-2?

The volume drop is supposedly not really a drop in signal level, but a perceived volume drop. I read that the apparent level drop is only a trick played on your ears, but I did mod my Tremolo pedal to eliminate this. I don't have a schematic for the PN2 and don't have access to my PN2 for quite a while, so I can't tell you what changes to try. Maybe someone else here can do that for you. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
