ok i know this should be in the new pedals aquired thread but hey its a killer deal and a story..
so i met this guy in the parking lot at a little mom and pop guitar shop near my girlfriends to trade some drum gear. i show up early to snoop around but NOT BUY ANYTHING cuz moneys tight right now. i innocently make my way to the pedals and on the bottom shelf theres this MINT PH-1 Silver Screw staring back at me. im thinking here we go, $200 price tag i bet.. i say can i see that PH-1? $69.99.
so i say i already have its bigger brother the PH-1r but if you can take off the tax ill take the pedal. this was definitely a case where it would be stupid not to buy it.
i see the serial decoder is down right now. anyone have any idea what year this is from? its serial 8500 stamped but in the top right corner above the switch. it has a black switch (indicating its not too early)and the grey battery snap comes out at the bottom although theres a whole near the top for it too.
but man sometimes finding a deal brightens up the day!
