Hey, I've been wanting to get a Boss RT-20 for a while now, but I'm realizing I'm not going to have the money to drop $100+ on one...anyone have any recommendations for something similar that is cheaper, but still decent sounding. I'm after that filtered spacey kind of sound...I've got a couple of delays (DD-7 and Visual Sound liquid chorus and echo) but am looking for a little something more to really "space" things up a bit. Thoughts/recommendations?

I have never tried the Boss Rotary double pedal, but I suppose it can do a lot more than emulate an Uni-Vibe.
For just Uni-Vibe like sounds, and no big money, you have the Behringer Vibe pedal and Danelectro Cool Cat Vibe. Never tried the Behringer but have the Danelectro, and like it a lot, really woolly like the original.
A very good emulation is also in Boss PW-10 wah wah, not cheap but you get very much for the money.

RE-20 I have had, I lked it at first, but soon got tired of it. Why?? I dont really know, but it got tiring to my ears after a while, it is supposed to sound analog but it was to digital sounding, in my ears Hard to explain I liked the effect but not the sound
