On dutch ad-site 'marktplaats' i saw an CE-2 with this backplate and i wonder if it's a factory fault or not?

Looks like the label was ripped off & re-stuck on.
Maybe from they guy trying to remove some old Velcro?

Lets hope it wasn't an MIT Pedal, that someone tried to cheat buyers with,
by using an MIJ label off some cheaper pedal.

the label reads "use a coin.." so it should be a silver screw or very early blackscrew... can you verify the serial?
