Chances are the CE-2 and CE-2B are similar except for a few comps, making it compatable to a bass. Same with the bf-2, including a shift in delay time. Heres one for the ce-2 http://www.erikhansen.net/?page_id=26 another modding trick is to replace the three 1uf electro caps along the signals path for a 1uf film cap. Don't know the references, but on the ce-2 its the cap up by the wires, and the two on the right. Helps the tone. Compare the schems and suggested mods to your ce-2b, if it sounds like it might work, try it. Just make sure anything you try can be reversed.
Good luck, im eyeing a ce-2 pedal on evilbay |

I tried that CE-2B at the store an could not hear any difference. I thought it has a problem, the check led worked normally but no difference when turning on and off. I tried it with a battery they had at the store, probably not fresh but the led wasn't dimmed.
Then I didn't buy it before check the forum. What I found in other thread is that it's very subtle so you will notice the difference until turn it off after a while.
My question, is the CE-2B so so subtle that you won't easily notice the effect even with all the knob at max?? Do you think this pedal could be not working??
The knobs in this pedal in particular look like the ones used in all the 4 knobs pedals, could they be not the original knobs??
This pedal is $120 USD, it has box and manual, the grommet is worn, paint is in very good condition. Could you buy this pedal?? |

| I have 2 CE-2Bīs and they both have a sound clearly different from no effect at all, itīs a huge difference. I will say that CE-2B sounds about the same as CE-2. |

| Wasn't there a screw on the circuit board that you could tweak on the CE-2B?? Could you do it on the CE-3B?? |
