That's a bit TOO much. Even for a NOS vintage whammy.

$560, 5days left. I contacted seller to prove it was "new old stock" because doesnot appear to have any track record with musical equipment and does not have other listings to prove same either. lets see what he says.

Mint condition, with mint condition box, IMO, nNOS or just in perfect condition, the result is the same.

Imagine you find a Uni Vibe NOS... No, don't. It hurts.

There is the paypal option with up to $2000 of coverage so I would assume it is legit. No way am I paying that much for a whammy though.

Holy Crap! And to think I only got $500 for my WH-1 a year ago?

It was in good shape, but definitely not NOS.

NEW UNUSED OLD STOCK - BIG DIFF in my books. lots of people can disguise HEAVY studio use, by not abusing them and careful mounting on pedal boards. in case of the WH1, unused is definitely better than used but perfect cosmetics. BUT this is just me, my friend. one can't get parts for these anymore methinks so the less usage the better. BUT >$700 its not THAT good, the WH2 is SO much easier to use but frankly, lacks the mojo of the WH1.

has anyone here had a chance to compare the WH4 re-issue and the WH1?????

I'd like to know that myself. I'll try to test drive one this weekend and post comments for starr36 and anyone else. I used my WH-1 for years, so I'll know how to compare it against the WH-4.

I am partly glad I did get rid of it. It sucked tone SO badly, worse than any other pedal I've ever owned or played. Really the stinker of the effects world!

diggum12, digitech is famous for sucking tone, but, some of em all you can do is put them in a separate loop which is annoyingly costly; it would have been super cheap for digitech to just naturally bypass teh effect. duh.

i have had 3 Digitech WHIIs and they all 'suck tone' in varying degrees. the one I have now, by some fluke, is very transparent, so I'm going to keep it. tapping my feet to swich modes is very happy in such a powerful pedal.

sure would like to hear if any real diff between Wh1 and wh4.

lots of people complain that the midi input is useless; not so, for professoinal concerts AND ANY BAND that even uses ONE sequencer, that is a super duper powerful feature because a lot of amps and rack effects have MIDI switching (my frigging mesa boogie as midi swichting capability), and so, for bands who "make it big" midi is almost necessary because there's alwasy a guy under the stage programming the show, and midi makes that go a little better sometimes.
