Just build Scot Swartz�s delay PT80, with PT2399 echo/delay chip, NE571N compander, and when its on there is only clean sound, no delay at all, anybody can help me pls?!

Please post a link, so others here can have a look.

Isn't the PT2399 echo/delay chip, used in most of DVD players, with karaoke Microphone inputs?

well at least that's where I got my PT2399, plus it was already,
all made up & built onto a PCB, with the pots & the 6.5mm input sockets.

I just had to add an output socket & a battery.

BTW there is a Datasheet floating around the web.
