I am curious if the ls-2 can handle the following scenario. If not, maybe somebody can recommend a pedal that can.
I want to run 2 seperate effects loops to a single amp, but I want to be able to run them individually or combined. I am not sure an A/B/Y switch will do the trick as most A/B/Y switches only have a single input.. Any suggestions, boss pedals or otherwise? I just got a Korg Mini Kaoss pad and only want it to be able to manipulate the sound in one loop without affecting the other when the signal is combined. Hope I am making sense...
Unfortunately you will not be able to switch between the two settings with the foot pedal. You can use the A -> B -> Bypass mode to choose between loop A, loop B or bypass but to use both loops you will need to set the mode selector to A + B Mix -> Bypass. In this mode you will however only be able to use both loops at the same time.
I believe you can solve your problem with something like this:
The far right PSM-5,bypass all: Guitar---Amp The middle PSM bypass 2 loop --- for the Alesis quadraberb GT The left PSM bypass the overdrive/distortion/flanger combination. There are lots of combinations possible. It's only a question of taste and time..
thanks for the suggestion. Seems like your travelling around the world to go next door, but if it works who am I to question. Still hoping for a single device that can accomplish this undaunting task..
The LS-2 is an option if you don't mind bending down and spining the "mode select" knob.
thats what i do to switch over for the B loop for silent tuning..i don't like having to step on it twice to get from A back to bypass in the middle of a song..it's no biggy ad the LS-2 is bulletproof, one of the best pedals on the board.......
