Although I don't possess a golden voice (as many would tell you), I sing. The problem is that I can't match the vocal intensity while recording that I have while playing with the band. Any suggestions?
Record while playing with the band No seriously you have to get that adrenaline rushing. Play the music loud on your headphones with the vocals low in the mix so you have to push a bit harder and maybe play guitar (playback) along with the song so you get a bit of a live feeling.
whats wrong with the first option...? we record live i think it's the best way... alot of the old classic albums were recorded like this with some overspill for the band into the mics.....
