Hi Bossarea & Guys.
Does anyone here know anything about, the Roland SB-100 Studio Bass Amplifier? It appears to have an 18 inch speaker. hard to see through the grill cloth. And a cabinet that tilts back for transport, & has built in wheels, into a 45 deg. cutout, in the rear of the base, of the cabinet, to move it around.
There is one in a local secondhand store, that is in AS NEW condition. it has similar cosmetics to the Roland JC-120 series of amplifiers. and yes it weighs a ton, well it's back breaking, unless your a roadie.
I found one vague link, that may indicate, that it's from about 1977, but I can't confirm that.
Any info. would be much appreciated. The store owner know it may be worth something, so it's not going to be a bargain.
If I remember, it also has a 2 letter metal logo, on the lower right of the grill. I think it was something like --- R+P ----
Regards Dr. Bob |

Here's a link to the 78 catalog page featuring the SB-100 http://lngngo1030.ifdef.jp/photo/p29-30.jpg
Specs: Output: 100W Speaker 1x 38cm(15") R&P Controls: Colume, treble, middle, bass, 6 band eq (75Hz, 150Hz, 300Hz, 600, 1.2kHz, 2.4kHz) Weight: 45kg
I got the specs from the 1980 catalog on vintaxe.com. It's a paysite so I can't link to it.
