So i have a dirt cheap CS-3 early MIJ that cost me a whopping $16.00 because output jack was broken inside.
I have discovered the following "weaknesses" in the pedal
1. really noisy if sustain is moved past 2pm
2. kind of spungy sucking the attack off if I pick too hard with attach at noon
3. similar to the DC-3, the CS-3 has really only one sweet spot (tone at about 12:30, attack at noon, and sutain at noon) and level wherever you want it, say anywhere past 11am to get slight boost.
I was wondering if anyone is happy with the www.indyguitarist.com mods or other suppliers who sell a kit with replacement capacitors and if the $20.00 is worth getting the kit.
