i completely removed C6 and heres what i found out. the tone knob gave a lot of hiss/noise from 12:00 onwards. its ok before 12 but theres a setting i like which has the tone at 2:00 or so, ( like jaKe e. Lee's lead tone in ozzy/badlands) and as soon as i turned the tone to 2:00, hiss appeared. i experimented by changing C6 to a different value; the stock is marked 104 and i use one with 223 ( thats not the value but a code, right?) i find that better sounding. can somebody explain what i did?
