Yep.... some of this stuff looks cool.... i was reading 'pigs might fly' about pink floyd over the last few days and after waters left and one of the probs was trying to get the sound right...their 2nd keyboard player jon carin suggested getting all the old gear out of storage especially the hammond and farfisa organs,some of the old stuff has a sound that still can't be replicated fully IMHO... i also remember(and posted this on topics before) about during the early 80's walking around Dublin as a kid and seeing all the old guitar effects in the windows of pawn and junk shops going for little or nothing,lots of lovely EH and old fuzzfaces and the big old Fuzz/wah pedals and stuff like this that we didn't know what it was.... now their called 'vintage'... ..of course all we did was go to the music shops and look at the boss pedals in the glass case at the counter that we couldn't afford... ...... |
