I have a guy on eBay saying that the cheapest postage to send one Boss pedal from belgium to Canada is 47 Euro.
I think that's gouging but wanted to check with you folks before reporting him.

| it's not exactly apples to apples, but I just shipped a pedal from the usa to France for $16 USD (USPS 1st Class Mail International). is there really that much difference going the other direction across the Atlantic? |

| I've not bought a pedal from Europe but I've sent / received packages from Germany at work quite a bit (our parent company is German) and I can say something the weight of a pedal should not cost anything like 47 Euro. |

Yes, not more than 16 euros. I payed 19 euros for my PH-1r to ship from the USA to Holland.
Plus and additional 25 for import duties, which I'd never payed before. Customs must've let those other pedals slip through, but caught this one, damn those bastards |

In Canada, they never miss anything over $60 in declared value. |

meh, not true. I got a bcb 6 loaded for 270USD paid $5 at the po. its really random my friend. jewellery, pedals, spoilers for my car, books, diamonds, its all random. somedays you win, and some, you lose. Kinda like visiting the USA. You get a zealous 17 and 1/2 year old guard, you just know "today is your lucky day the newbie wants a promotion" You get a 55 year old redneck counting his pension checks "sail on bro, sail on bro. come back again ... uncle sam loves you". |
