| I bought a DS-1 that is Keeleymodded. It has the logo etc. It also have the blue ligth that is a little bigger than the original red. Not ultrabright, but blue. It also have the little red one that ligthts up while playing. Seeing eye I think its called. But, it doesnt have the toggleswitch. Wich I think is good cause I like it clean and simple. But witch mod is it? Anyone who knows? |

| DS-1 or DS-2? What you are describing sounds like the basic (or ultra) SEM for a DS-1. |

Sorry, slipped on the keyboard. Have changed the misstace now. Its a DS-1 off course.
Doesnt the ultramod have a toggleswitch? |

The toggle is for the "D-Ultra mod"...
http://www.robertkeeley.com/audio6l6/dstech.html
In summary (and it confused me for a while, and I've been doing this mod for months! (free for mates)
SEM = bunch of basic mods plus the LED in the "O" in "TONE"
ULTRA = SEM plus a few extra (internal) mods
D-Ultra = ULTRA plus switchable clipper LED

| I just got my DS-1 back from Keeley yesterday. It has the "seeing Eye" red led & toggle and the stock led was chaged to blue. He just calls it the DS-1 Ultra now. Great pedal! |

I'm sorry friend, but I have no idea about that question. But why don't you try to search on Google or ask it to your friends?. We don't know that they have some ideas about your question. Right?
I hope you appreciate my advice. |

Ahhhh... that explains my confusion!
So, the real story is probably: SEM = no switch (presumably the mods previously known as "Ultra") Ultra = SEM with switch
We could test this theory if you were willing to post pics of the component side of the board, and the back of the switch (just asking, no worries if not!)

Hi! Well, search on google didnt help me out, and my friends doesnt know a shit about pedals. So my BOSS-area "friends" was asked. Most because it always has been a good community with people who actually know things about stuff, and cause of theres so many nice dudes here that are willing to help. No matter what a stupid question it is. I get the feeling that we take care of each other here. I like that. |
