Hi guys,

I have an old beat up Ibanez guitar that I decided to ressurect by putting in new pickups, i had one of the pickups in the bridge, and the other was the stock pickup as I was saving up to by another pickup and then I got the new one and tried to wire them up and i couldn't get it working. They are both Seymour Duncan, they are both humbuckers with their typical amount of wires coming out of the one big one. My question is:

Where do you get that little silver wire that jumps between two tabs on the selector switch, as I found a diagram on seymourduncan.com that should work, but I don't have that little silver wire to solder, does it matter what that is or where I get it?

Thanks

Are you sure that it's silver, and not just tinned (soldered) copper?

Pretty much any stranded copper hookup wire ought to work for pickup wiring (probably the heaviest gauge you can get to fit on the terminals / solder lugs).

C.K.
