$95 is an ok price. If it was here at my local pawn store I'd grab it.

Stock Valve Jr is OK, but modded it can be made into a great amp, there are lots of info on the net how to do it. The most costly thing to do is to change the output transformer, and this is most important on the first two versions.
$ 95 is an OK price I think.
For the moment my V Jr rests, Im playing a lot on the new Vox AC4TV, great amp unmodded but not as load as V Jr.

If it is a Version 3, then it is a good deal. The on/off switch should be blank (no "I" or "0" like on version two) and should have a 16-digit serial number. If it is a Version 3, then it isn't strictly necessary to change out the output transformer.

In the US a new one is $159. I've seen them on Craigslist for as low as $75, but not lately.$95 is a good deal, not great, but a good deal nonetheless.
