FUCKING GREAT!! Looks stupendous.
No offense to the Edge, but who would you rather see instead of him?
My first thoughts are of Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, John Frusciante, Billy Corgan, or J Mascis. I appreciate and adore The Edge and U2 but there are others who I adore more. I know there are many of us who love that The Edge is in this film as to each his own...
To rephrase my own question, whom would you rather see in this film instead of whoever else? |

The Edge isn't in my top 5 guitarists but he is a massive gear and pedal nut - a BBC programme showed him going through his rig a while ago and it was awesome - maybe he'll introduce Jimmy and Jack to the PW-2
Can't wait to see the film. |

I would love to see Malcolm Young or Billy Gibbons in the movie, instead of White and The Edge, but I also love those two guys and the movie's gonna be great with the 3 players starring. |

possibly the idea was to bring three different, diverse players with different styles/backgrounds but at the same time all three are known for sonic experimention with the guitar and effects/amps etc...and see what happens..personally i think it's a good mix and would get very boring if all three were coming from the hard rock/blues like say gibbons and young....plus these three span 3 different musicial generations and have big names to pull in an audience outside of the guitar playing community.... |

You're right about Gibbons and Young being in the same genre, but I think it would be great to have a rhytm guitarist like Young in there. You've got three leads now. But it was just a suggestion, maybe because AC/DC and ZZ Top are two of my favourite bands.
PS: It would be cool if SRV was in if he was still alive. |
