Padless! Probably not too hard to fix up nicely. Depends if you have a junker pedal lying around, or if you want to order a new treadle pad..

I understand relic, I don't understand un-needingly distressed. Is this some Wendy O Plasmatic thing that is in place??? No slam on Wendy, I'd love to distress her.
