| yeah, i got a CE-2 MIT too, i discussed this with the other dudes somewhere in this forum, but i don't remember which one. anyways, they shouldn't sound any different at all, even though i don't have an MIJ CE-2 and an LS-2 to "A-B" them and tell the difference. but did anybody experimented with this? |

Somewhere I heard/read that the MIJ CE-2 was more carefully adjusted at the trimpots inside and therefore sounded better. How to adjust a MIT one I dont know. And dont ask boss freak cause hes strictly forbidden open up any more pedals |

| The adjustments are explained on the schematic. My scan of it is unfortunately so bad that I'm unable to decipher the process. I copied it up on http://www.bossarea.com/test/ce2.jpg so you can try figuring it out yourself. |

Is that a schematic? Or is it a treasure map? |

| Seriously though, I had never heard of the MIT being more finely tuned than the MIJ. That's interesting. I wwould try to A/B mine, but my MIT is modded for vibrato effect so I don't think I'd be much help in proving that right or wrong. |

When I bought my CE-2 the shop I bought it from had two, one MIJ and one MIT. I A-B'd them and found there was not alot of difference between the two. I bought the MIJ because it was the more desireable one of the two, and there was a guy that was trying to buy it as I was testing it out. luckly the shop keeper said that it was first come first served. I bought the MIJ, and he bought the MIT, so everyone was happy. |

Cool, good to hear there isn't a huge difference :)
Can totally nail the Criss Oliva clean + chorus sound with it. He used one which fueled my interest in having one. |

| Sorry, my comment got deleted on that one somehow. What I was trying to say was that I think you have the MIT and MIJ situation reversed as to what the original commentor was saying. |
