can you tell me what is wrong with this picture
6-4-5-3-2-1 or 1-2-3-5-4-6 Very observant zerksies.
Laurie I noticed that it's a crafted in Indonesia. As a quick heads up, a lot of the superb finishes on these guitars, it's actually a transparent Photo-film type material. It's a common finishing technique on more brands of guitars that you think.
I have worked on a few of these Squires, & somewhere in my photo archive, I have pics of the film over body. It's more noticeable, when you remove the scratch plate, & typically between the end of the neck & the neck pickup.
As I said, many companies use this film to get beautiful looking matched or sunburst finishes.
I don't belive this Photo-film technique has been discussed here in any topic before.
