No, it is not a 70s model. Probably 1982 or newer. It has the short dash and black screw.
But its well played in...

I spotted that one too when I was on Ebay, it looks like it's been tied to the leg of an offshore oilrig for a few years

Funny, but it does have an appeal. I hope manufacturers don't start producing new 'relic-ed' pedals though, that would be too much.

One thing I've noted about guitar pedals is that they always seem to be left in 'survivor' condition, there doesn't seem to be anyone refinishing them and adding new logo decals as they would with guitars, or bicycles for instance. This is a good thing, it makes it a lot easier to judge what you're buying.

I always feel sad when I see damaged pedals. They have lived such a rough life! Then again, they do look like they have more interesting stories to tell.

If only the could talk...

Hi ronster
They do TALK, just plug in your guitar & strum a few chords
Now what better conversation could you have.

Hey I got my EH-2 & DS-1 last Saturday, I will be trying them out a bit later today.
The DS-1 was a very early one, with a few paint chips & stories to tell.
The EH-2 was probably from the first batch made according to Bossarea.
Unit 246 March 90, with box & manual.

I've picked up a few other toys as well, watch the 'New pedals acquired" thread.

Regards Dr. Bob

Thanks Albie333 I'll go and pick up my guitar now and I'll swear I can hear people talking to me!

"Play me" "no play me!" "don't listen to the stupid overdrive, I'm much more fun" and "hey little boy...I have the sound you want!"
