Not too sure about about a A/B box but a while back when i was trying to find a way of switching the rack gear in and out of my signal chain i came across some rack mounted loop units...Voodoo labs make one but their fairly pricey and you need the floorboard to control it....

You are thinking of something that does a single A/B switch mounted in a rack unit and controlled by a footswitch?

OK... so the 100% dumb question from me...

If it is OK to run a single control cable to the pedalboard, how come three audio leads for the in+A+B signals won't work? WOuldn't need the rack part of it, just the A/B pedal?

I'm missing something i just know it!

I bought my furman power conditioner. but i have no other rack effects. I am just looking for things to make a rack with. I was hoping that they had a rack mount A/B switch. may be switch between my normal and vibrato channel of my amp.I really just use the vibrato channel like everyone else in the world. But if i put a different type of tube in. i could get a different clean sound. Just something to mess around with. I think i am just gonna get a Korg tuner maybe another item.Maybe a noise gate.I am just thinking my possibilities. It sounds great right now the furman cleaned up some electrical noise

Hi DeFrag

Is that this weeks GAS Haul?

I have repaired a couple of the Korg rack Tuners
I think the older model was the DRT-1000.

They have a really clever method of Gnd isolation, & it took me quite a few minutes to get your head around it.

Regards Dr. Bob

What about something like the Lehle D loop.. i know it's not a rack mountable switcher but i played with the idea of adapting one or screwing one to the bottom of the rack..it's a simple switcher with stereo capabilites if you need them plus it has MIDI so maybe it's possible to control with a small MIDI switcher something like a tech 21's Midimouse..?..i'm not too familiar with MIDI maybe DeFrag or someone else could shed some light if this is possible.....

Franzoni doesn't lie.. Lehle makes some top-notch gear.
I have two of the Little Lehle A/B (stereo) units & want to buy their loopers.

(Tech21's MidiMouse has been on my list for awhile!)
