That's what I thinking -- but then, where were these manufactured (probably China), and what sort of patent or intellectual property law would they have on their side...? Look at how many consumer products get knocked off in China as it is -- outright counterfeit of designer labels and such.
But then I remembered that way back when Gibson sued those Japanese companies (Ibanez?) that were making Les Paul copies too much like the originals.
The administrator contacted Boss about that Indian company a while back -- perhaps it might be worth asking them about this, out of curiosity if nothing else?
Boss did go after Behringer for their knock-offs, but they were identical looking boxes. I still tend to think that was a marketing ploy by Behringer to get a lot of free publicity for their new line of pedals. Genius.
