Which pedal Trevor Rabin uses on the solo for the song "Owner Of A Lonely Heart"? Anyone?

That song was recorded in the early 80s. I don't think technology then was to the point yet where you could do pitch shifting effects with a pedal. That being said it was probably some rack effect. On the Boss Book CD they have a very convincing cover of that solo using the PS-5.

Wikipedia says it was an MXR Pitch Transposer.

The Boss book is also mentioning this solo and if I remember correctly, the HR-2 was developed with this song in mind.
