What's the difference between using a PSA adaptor with a TU-2 & daisy chain and using just the PSA & daisy chain to power your pedals? Also, I came across the following in the manual for the DD-2:
"Never use one adaptor for two units simultaneously"; does this maybe explain why you should use a TU-2 or LS-2 to power multiple pedals as opposed to using just a daisy chain with a connector for the adaptor? |

| I use a Visual sound Onespot adaptor with the daisy chain on my DD-2 and it always powers up just fine. |

There is no difference whatsoever - all the TU-2 does is bump the power onwards, the same way as a daisy chain cable does. The warning in the DD-2 manual probably has more to do with Boss' desire for you to buy more adapters than anything else... As long as you don't exceed the adapter's limit, daisy-chaining is perfectly safe.
If you get hum with a straight daisy chain, you will get it with a TU-2/daisy chain setup too. Some pedals simply do not like to share the power supply, and daisy-chaining off the TU-2 will not make any difference in that regard. Also, some pedals (mostly digital and/or time-based fx such as delay, chorus etc) do not like the power provided by switching type supplies like the 1spot or Godlyke, and can respond with a high-pitched whining sound. Again, if that happens, it will not make a difference if you're daisy-chaining straight from the adapter or through a TU-2.

| I use a voodoo lab pedal power 2 and it works wonderfully. I used to have ground loop problems when I used a godlyke and a one spot. My RC-20 goes to the PA and that would sometimes cause hum problems becuse the PA and my amp are sometimes on separate power circuits. The Voodoo Labs has eight supplies that are all completely isolated and it has never (knock on wood) let me down. |

| Does anyone have any information or feedback on the Godlyke power supply? I have been wanting to pick one up, but now that I've read stinkfoot's post, I'm curious to hear what you guys might think. |
