If you were stuck on an island with a guitar, amp, and ONE Boss pedal... what would you want that pedal to be? Assume you have your favorite guitar and amp (and power to plug it all into!)
So far for me (and this will change over time I suspect), it would be my stock Boss MT-2.

Any delay box will do.
So, ideally then a DD20. |

That depends. I know Boss makes numerous pedals with tap-tempo, but do they make a pedal with a beer-tap?
On a serious note, probably my TR-2. I love that pedal. |

I just sold my dc-2..
BUT
I'd say either the vb-2 or dd-7
And in my case I would have my keyboard, amp, and pedal.
DD-7 FINAL ANSWER. |

Under the above conditions, I would want to have my TU-2. |

I would be sad to see the back of my TR2 and especially my CE-2 and all my boss pedals, but i reckon my desert island pedal would have to be my DD-3..still get a kick out of that lil' box..... .... |

| I would probably have to say my dd-20, though my dc-2 comes in a close second. |

again, a very horrible and unfair question but i'm gonna have ot go with my DD-20...i just imagine i could quite a bit of time with it...esp. if you use all 23 secs of delay on it... |

| I would also bring my DD-20, if the amp that was with me had good crunch (and an effects loop). |

| I don't need dirt or modulation to be happy (although I love them), but I would really miss delay, especially one that sounds great and has many functions (looping is essential here) hence the DD-7. |

agreed, especially if the guitar has a floating trem :)
i'm one of those people with good enough pitch to find out of tune notes painful... but not good enough to tune anything but E or D off of memory.

| that's a tough one.... okay, if I could only take one BOSS pedal it'll be my VBSP-21 and the rest would be Marshall / Ibanez pedals |

I think maybe a GT-10 or a ME-50 or is that cheating? If I can take just one single compact pedal it will depend what amp I've got. Does it have built in reverb? Maybe it's one of those Line6 thingys with everything built in? If the amp doesn't have any distortion, I would definitely need that sorted but then most amps do and in that case I would want to get a delay like a DD-7. |
