150 is probably a fair price, but due to the fact I wasn't looking for one....think I'll just keep an eye on it and see how far it tumbles. Not opening my wallet yet!

There are so many amps in the JC series that I did a bit of googling and came up with the following list

Roland JC-20..... 20W...... 2x5"
Roland JC-50..... 50W...... 1x12"
Roland JC-55..... 25W+25W.. 2x8"
Roland JC-60..... 60W...... 1x12"
Roland JC-60A.... 60W...... 1x12" R&P
Roland JC-77..... 40W+40W.. 2x10"
Roland JC-80..... 60W...... 1x12"
Roland JC-85..... 40W+40W.. 2x10"
Roland JC-90..... 40W+40W.. 2x10"
Roland JC-120.... 60W+60W.. 2x12"
Roland JC-120A... 60W+60W.. 2x12" R&P
Roland JC-120H... 60W+60W.. -
Roland JC-160.....60W+60W.. 4x10"
Roland JC-200.. 100W+100W.. Sold with two 2x12" R&P cabs

I think the list is complete but I have no idea what the difference is between models with the same spec.
I looked at the JC-60 and JC-80 manuals and they're identical down to the number of transistors but the JC-60 is 2kg heavier...?

Hi DasBeef

WW if it keeps falling at that rate,
in another few months it will be Free...

Seriously though DasBeef, make him a bottom line offer, he just may accept it?
If you read the Advert. it says:
"Need this gone in the next few days if possible".

You know your GAS wants it...

regards Dr. Bob

Ha ha Dr. Bob. Check you baiting me. I'm still not convinced. I'm more thinking along the lines of a CS-1 (and some change), or DM-2 for that money.
As I said aswell, I only started looking as it popped up on gumtree. I was actually on the prowl for effects......for a change!

You know you'll get a JC series amp eventually...

Just make him an offer of 100 quid cash and see if he bites

Could it be that some models have a heavier duty speaker to double as bass or keyboard amps...? i know my Musicman combo has the 'HD' after the logo beside the model number that stands for Heavy Duty..i found out later it meant that the amp and more importantly the speakers were designed to double as bass amps....
