Hi,
This is my first post.
I need 2 pedals repaired.
Is there an expert in the Los Angeles area?

Here are the problems:
1 - MT-2 - Dist. shaft/knob was stepped on and bent.
Now when engaged - no signal passes. Dry signal
passes when not engaged.

2 - DM-2 Does not seem to engage. Tried with wall
power and battery. Signal passes thru. I dropped it
in the parking lot - when I opened and look at the
circuits - the IC Chip had dislodged. I reseated it,
but it still does not work.

Please point me to someone who can take a look at these pedals.

Thank you,
Rick

-- Update --

If anyone is in need of a repair guy, I found a great guy in North Hollywood.

He fixed the DM-2. A solder joint broke when I dropped the pedal.
I still need 2 knobs for it though. Does anyone have some to sell?
I think they are called "skirt" with screw.

The MT-2 needs a new pot. It's the one on the far right. Is that something I can get from Boss?

Rick

I've seen the 'Echo' knobs on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Small-Knob-Vintage-Boss-guitar-pedals-CS-2-DM-2-PH-1r_W0QQitemZ230112357084

The Repeat & Intensity knobs look like standard ones that you could get from Ebay (search for 'Boss Knobs'), a high-street electronics shop or online retailers noted below.

A call to Roland/Boss may well yield a replacement, though they may have a minimum order value? (others here will know, maybe you could ask for the knobs at the same time). Otherwise check the pot for markings/numbers and look for similar in an electronics shop, or somewhere online like pedalpartsplus.com, effectsconnection.com, mouser.com etc.

If you want genuine Boss knobs from the same year as your DM-2 then sourcing would be difficult, though I think new ones would basically be indistinguishable.
