In this thread there's been discussion of the OD series being cleaner boost than the BD-2. I don't have an OD-3 for comparison but always thought the BD-2 was pretty clean. I recently bought an acoustic amp for my electric acoustic and put the BD-2 in the chain to test that theory. It does color the sound more than I thought.
I really like the BD-2 for the electric and am happy with it but now I know it is not quite as clean - or mayber I should say transparent - than I thought.
