It was Zerksies who put me on the track on this one, in another topic:

You can find many, many tweaks, mods and good advices here, mostly on guitars.
Some of the facts will give you paranoia, bad sleep and a restless mind�
The tone control mod for telecaster is highly recommended, works very good, cost nothing more than 5 minutes and 1 cm of soldering tin.
Don�t miss anything on this great site!

we should take the Dylan/Wilburys song 'tweeter and the monkeyman' and re-name it 'tweeker and the monkeyman' as the theme tune of this forum......
