Hi Guys
Goran & I occasionally send each other a PM or two. He was asking me politely Why I haven't posted any, new tracks for a while?
Life's been very busy & hectic & busy down here in Oz, over the past few months. (The guys here that really know me, will attest to that)
Considering how hectic things have been, I thought it would be nice, to slow things down, & chill out a bit. And I really needed to slow things down...
I have just posted a new track on my music server, see the Homepage link in my profile. http://wwwDOTtechnical-servicesDOTcomDOTau/DrBob/
The track is called: Ice Cold Jazz. Track name on server: ClipTracksSng-06-Ice Cold Jazz.mp3 -- 192kb/s -- 3.2M -- 2mins 24sec It is part of a project I was asked to work on. This track, like all the others remain Copyright Bob Bradac.
Let me know if you guys also want me to post it my new Dr.B Eng site?
Goran made me realize that it's been (4) months since I posted some new stuff. Thanks for the gentle prompt Goran.

"Midnight Traffic"
I really like "Lynbrook" too.
Is "Terraforming" inspired by "Board of Canada" ? |

Hi Kulten No -- It's all just brain spasms. I really try not to upload any of the blues stuff. And I do try to make most uploads a totally different style or feel.
If you get to know me, I don't really listen to much other stuff. I know very little about some of the other artists, that people ask me about. And I do appreciate, being compared to some of these other artists & bands.
By the way did you get to watch the Terraforming Landmass video? That was lots of fun to do, but time consuming.
Lynbrook, is also one of my most favored tracks as well. I spent a real lot of time & effort, developing & trying to perfect, the ideas behind, the way that track is put together & recorded.
I did a 9.x min demo of it, & I ran out of steam. At one point I even ran out of hardware. May people have asked for a longer 50-60 min (whole side of a CD) version. That idea has been revived, and is definitely on one of my back-burners. Along with an 8-10 track Acoustic only (all originals) solo CD.
Thanks for the support. Regards Dr. Bob |

Hi Dr. Bob
You must know that I was going to really get into 'Ice Cold Jazz'...nice I can just imagine a lazy Larry Carlton / Ronny Jordan style guitar lick drifting in and out over that.
Certainly floats my boat mate and how did you get that bass line?

-Commercial mode- Another great track by Dr. Bob! Go and check it out! -Commercial mode off-
I like the song, it reminds me a bit of St. Germain, smooth and loungy jazz...

Hi The_Doc First of all thanks to EVERYONE for their support. The_Doc You are most welcome to overdub some smooth lead lines over it. You can PM it back to me & I will be most happy to put it up on the server. I have heard your playing skills & some of your recordings, & I like the feel you put into your music.
It would be a nice international collaboration. "Two Doc's" sounds like a good name for a band or an album idea... Or maybe something like "Second Opinion/s"
The bass line? - lots of toys - but not as many as your collection. We'll have to visit each other someday-week-month & play with them all.
Regards Dr. Bob

Great job |

Great music again Dr Bob Itīs a cool piece of jazz, it swings a lot, great keyboard.
Now you have touched nearly every corner of music, but I still miss a low down dirty blues |

Many thanks and what an offer - how can I refuse that? The file will soon be in my DAW and I'll get working on it as soon as I can - our first international collaboration! I hope I can do it justice.
I like the name too quote: "Two Doc's" sounds like a good name for a band or an album idea... Or maybe something like "Second Opinion/s"
Wouldn't it be the biz if we could get together for a month and pool all our toys? Actually - I think we we need at least 6 months When I retire mate, unless I can persuade Mrs The_Doc she needs a trip to Oz (together with a truck load of music toys ) before then....
PS: I'm still working on a trip to Dublin too Franzoni! |
