The show goes very well, the place of the gig was full and the press had words of love for us!
We'll start the september 4th with the rehearsals.
Here for some video of the night:

I took pictures on my strats and teles the other day with my daughters not-so-good digital camera (I´m conservative and uses an "analog" camera, as well as tubes )

Hi Goran Very nice. I like the way the pattern in your rug, looks like guitar leads going into the guitars.
What is the artwork on the green Strat?

Hi Guys It was Dr. Bob's Birthday at the start of the Aug, & I was out buying a tube head with my friend Justin. The place we went had a scratch & dent sale. I found this lonely looking guitar in the back corner of the store. A Quick cleanup & some new stings, & she is singing again.
All Brass bell (body) weighs about the same as 4-5 Strats, & it's loud. While it's not a 1940's National, it's a step in the right direction.
If I told you what I paid for it, you would all beat me up.
Picture is from the web, my camera need some attention.

Regards Dr. Bob |

The green strat, the so called psych-strat, is a strange thing. I bought it for a little less than US $200 some years ago. The hand painted body is amazing; the back is also very nice decorated. The whole guitar is really worn, naturally relicted, the frets are worn very low. So this is my main slide guitar. This is a very, very good sounding guitar and I spent some time getting information about what it is. It´s not a Fender, but has the quality of a Fender. I asked around on guitar forums in Sweden, no one had ever seen it before. At the music store no one knew anything, they had found the guitar in the basement after taking over from the previous owner. I tried to locate the previous owner and after some time I found him. He had bought the guitar in Los Angeles in the middle of the 90´s and had this information (he´s an expert in vintage guitars): He had no idea of the artist doing the decoration. Body: probably an early seventies Fender, Ash. Neck: Could be a Schecter Pick ups: DiMarzio, found in early high end Tokai strats Hardware: unknown but high quality tremolo assembly, Tuning Machines; quite new Gotohs; Knobs & pick guard; probably from an early seventies Fender.

Hi Goran
That second to left tele look real cool, what's that artwork. It looks like an old 50's magazine. |

90 re-issue '76 explorer, 02 LP studio, 83 Squier gold logo JV Strat. Nothing here particularly noteworthy...no modifcations, no pickup changes. The strat had a stripped whammy bar mount, I took the string block to a friend who filled and re-tapped it; it is aging nicely, yellowing of plastic etc. The explorer sounds awesome, the LP Studio pretty standard, and that strat really barks!
