It's surprising that they designed it in the twin pedal format, as the thing would certainly fit in the compact format, and considering that the second switch wasn't that important...
i came across it on the net a while ago,it looks like it came out a few years ago but i can't find a review of it even on harmony central.....strange... maybe there was no demand for it.....??but i would have thought as orginal space echoes are going for megabucks these days and the maintainance issues involved that these would be snapped up...i actually had a post a while ago about space echoes and no one even mentioned this pedal so its a long lost mystery pedal maybe bossarea could clear it up for us...what happened to the re20..??....
The RE-20 was released at Frankfurt Musikmesse 20th of March 2007 (3 weeks ago) and will not be available in stores until June. There isn't much information available anywhere about this unit as very few people has actually seen one so far.
Did you confuse it with another unit released a few years back?
thanks guys for clearing it up...i was surfing a couple of nights ago and found a forum where it was mentioned with a link to www.roland.com and the page with the RE 20,one of the people on the forum(i think it was guitargeek) must of saw the date at the bottom of the roland page (2004)and assumed it was out since then,to be honest when i saw it i assumed it as well.... i should have known that bossarea would have the heads up on anything like that coming onto the market.....just going off topic slightly i'm really excited about this pedal, more so than the new compact units that just came out and i'm seriously thinking of getting this and the rt 20 rotary simulator..maybe roland will release the RE 30 chorus echo....with a built in ce 1 sim...!!.now that would really be something..........
