Shall we resurrect the pedal 'reconditioning' debate?
Low and behold, a trusty and questionable condition SG-1, check light not working due to "weak 9V battery" (on a $300.00 pedal, ya think he could part with $1.99 for a no-name alkaline battery made at the same plant as duracell and test 'for sure')
And of course, the old bottom label missing problem, which brings the question about label swapping and/or keeping the pedal 'original'.
Now we all know, the above 2 issues would likely detract from getting full price for this pedal BUT, could be a pretty good chance to flip.
Any Takers????

Hi starr36 & guys
I would still bid on it. I have bought a few pedals, that have had the label missing, somtimes the seller will give it to you, all stuck up or inside some Sh!t piece of velcro, covered in yellow contact cement.
Sure it detracts from the value, but it is a SS SG-1
Now the flat battery thing.... go figure???
It seems he's a dealer of old valve radio stuff, & maybe came across it in his buying spree's.

I was a victim of gear flipping last week. A guy bought a a piece of gear from me and sold it a few days later for $60 more.
Its a grey area... |
